Research Associate Professor
Laurie Ehlhardt Powell, PhD, is a Research Associate Professor at CBIRT and retired speech-language pathologist. Laurie specialized in cognitive rehabilitation for adults with mild TBI/concussion. She has directed NIH and NIDILRR-funded projects targeting the systematic instruction of assistive technology for cognition as well as caregiver training. She has served as Project Director for Oregon's TBI State Partnership Grant and Emeritus Board Member of the National Association of State Head Injury Administrators (NASHIA).
